Biography

Capable of driving the ball and hitting with power.

2014: Started seven games, all at catcher, as part of 19 appearances on the season for Texas Christian ... of his 12 appearances off the bench, 10 came as a pinch hitter and two as a defensive replacement... hit .257 with nine hits, including a double, and six RBIs... reached base in 11 of 19 games and hit safely in eight games... was 3-for-9 with a walk and an RBI as a pinch hitter... TCU debut came in a start against Jacksonville on Feb. 15... picked up a pinch-hit single against Northern Colorado on Feb. 18... earned the start against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Feb. 22... went 1-for-2 off the bench against Sam Houston State on Feb. 28... followed that up with a 1-for-3 day at the plate in a start against Michigan State on March 9... collected his first RBI of the season against Dartmouth on March 16... went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a relief appearance at Oklahoma on March 18... was 1-for-3 with an RBI in a start against Texas Tech on March 23... started at Oklahoma State on March 30 and picked up an RBI single... walked and scored a run against West Virginia on April 4... came in as a defensive replacement against Houston Baptist and was 1-for-1 with a run scored... made final start of the season on April 27 against Cal State Northridge... went 1-for-2 with an RBI... collected his sixth RBI of the season on April 29 at Stephen F. Austin... final appearance of the year was on May 10 against Oklahoma.

2013: Played one season at Cowley County... hit .394 with seven home runs and 53 RBIs... Baseball America ranked him as the 10th best prospect in the state of Kansas... earned first-team all-region, first-team all-conference and second-team All-American ... NJCAA player of week.

2012: Redshirted at Arizona State.

High school: Hit .411 with six homers and 36 RBIs as senior for Broken Arrow (Okla.) ... helped Tigers win Class 6A state championship ... team captain ... lettered four times in baseball ... earned Perfect Game West Region first-team accolades as a senior... named honorable-mention all-America by Perfect Game as a junior... named to the All-Area Code Team.

Personal: Majoring in justice studies ... parents are Dusty and Darci... has two sisters, Danielle and Diandra... father, Dusty, played baseball at Oral Roberts ... born Sept. 10, 1992 in Tulsa, Okla.
