OCU's Watson selected league setter of week

Conference chooses Watson for her first SAC setter of week nod

OKLAHOMA CITY – Heather Watson of Oklahoma City University became Sooner Athletic Conference setter of the week for Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
Watson, a senior from Edmond, Okla., gave OCU its fourth setter of the week award in six weeks this season. Watson provided the Stars with 10.75 assists, 2.17 digs and 0.17 aces a set last week.
Her high performance came against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday in Canyon, Texas with 49 assists. Watson's career high is 50 assists vs. Benedictine (Kan.) on Sept. 27, 2014.
This season, Watson averages 4.29 assists and 0.31 aces a set.
