OCU has been projected to finish fourth in the SAC by league coaches. Oklahoma City owns six NAIA national championships won in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008.
Oklahoma City has gone 33-3 against St. Gregory's over the years. The Stars knocked off St. Gregory's 92-83 on Feb. 18, 2014 at Abe Lemons Arena in the most recent meeting. McGhee topped OCU with 30 points.

ABOUT THE CAVALIERS: St. Gregory's upended then-17th-ranked Texas Wesleyan 99-90 on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Shawnee, Okla. St. Gregory's (8-6, 4-2 SAC) sank 21 of 27 second-half free throws to pull away from Texas Wesleyan. St. Gregory's game originally scheduled for Thursday against Wayland Baptist (Texas) in Plainview, Texas, had been moved to Monday due to snowy weather this week.
Marty Wilkerson, a 5-9 senior, piled up 31 points, 21 in the second half. Wilkerson downed five 3-pointers. Wilkerson ranks third in the NAIA at 23.7 points a game. Richard Shields, a 6-3 junior, had 22 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Shields averages 9.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
St. Gregory's received votes in the latest NAIA poll. The Cavaliers' 5.93-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks third nationally. SGU had been picked to win the SAC in the preseason.

ABOUT THE COACHES: Dionne Phelps owns a 52-44 record in his fourth season as OCU coach. He led the Stars to the SAC Tournament title and an NAIA Division I Tournament appearance in 2012-13. Phelps took over the Stars after serving as assistant coach for Oklahoma, which featured future No. 1 NBA Draft pick Blake Griffin during his tenure. Phelps has been a part of five conference title teams as well as three NCAA Tournament teams during his 24-year coaching career. Phelps played for Texas Lutheran, eventually joining the Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame.
John Martin is in his seventh season as St. Gregory's coach with a 62-128 record since taking the helm. Martin played college basketball at St. Gregory's, when it was a junior college, and OCU.

QUOTABLE: "Dorion has freakishly long arms, and he was able to contest those shots, which is what we needed." – Phelps on Dorion Gigger's three blocks, which equaled the three he had against Central Oklahoma on Nov. 14, 2013
