Stars take one of two matches in Eagle Invitational

OCU knocks off Bethel before dropping one to 14th-ranked Park

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oklahoma City University collected a 25-23, 25-14, 25-9 victory over Bethel (Kan.) before falling 25-11, 25-20, 25-22 to nationally ranked Park (Mo.) on Friday in the Avila Eagle Invitational at Mabee Fieldhouse.
The Stars went to 3-3 on the year. Park holds the 14th spot in the preseason NAIA volleyball rankings.
OCU's matchup against Park was the Stars' first this year against a rated opponent. Fifth-ranked Oklahoma Baptist is the other opponent on OCU's schedule in the preseason top 25.
OCU meets Kansas Wesleyan at 1 p.m., then Bethany (Kan.) at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Avila Eagle Invitational.
