OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Xiaoting Ma heads the weekly group of Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball honorees, earning player of the week for Sept. 6-12.

Ma, a senior from Dalian, China, picked up the SAC player of the week for the fourth time in her three-year OCU career.

For the week, Ma averaged 4.16 kills with a .260 attack percentage. She had 73 digs, five assists, two solo blocks, five block assists and eight aces. OCU was 3-2 on the week.

Ma put together a streak of five consecutive double-doubles that ended last week.

For the season, Ma has recorded 4.00 kills, 3.68 digs, 0.48 blocks and 0.45 aces for 4.73 points a set.

The Stars (4-4) meet Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Bethany, Okla., in the SAC opener for both teams.
