ABOUT THE COACHES: Kevin Morrissey enters his first full season as OCU head coach. Morrissey spent the previous four seasons as St. Gregory's coach. He also has been an assistant at Missouri State and Texas-Pan American. Morrissey played his college ball at Oklahoma Baptist and Oral Roberts and high school at Bishop McGuinness in Oklahoma City.

St. Gregory's has gone 7-36 since John Martin became head coach last season, succeeding Morrissey. St. Gregory's went 2-27 last season. Martin played college basketball at St. Gregory's, when it was a junior college, and OCU.

QUOTABLE: “The one thing I am concerned about, and I told the guys, is we only had one assist at halftime, and we picked up two in the second half for a total of three. We've got to be able to share the ball a little better. We did a better job in the second half, but in the first half it was just quick shots and our shot selection wasn't very good.” – Morrissey
