BRISTOL, Tenn. – Oklahoma City University picked up a pair of women's dual victories on Saturday at the King College Student Center.
The Stars (7-0-1) knocked off Missouri Baptist 26-19 and rolled to a 43-3 win over King (Tenn.).
Against Missouri Baptist, OCU picked up four forfeits. Na'Tasha Umemoto added a 1-0, 6-1 decision over Amy Whitbeck.
Against King, the Stars won five matches by fall. Nicole Woody pinned Andrea Dorner in 41 seconds, and Brittany Delgado beat Alana Jimenez in 54 seconds. Michaela Hutchison and Brittany Roberts also had falls.
Umemoto, a freshman from Portland, Ore., defeated Becky Cissell 6-0, 6-0 in a technical fall. Samantha Phillips gained a forfeit, and Karon Scott won 3-0, 1-0 over Shalihah Gray.
OCU meets Missouri Baptist and Missouri Valley at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Abe Lemons Arena.
