THE MATCHUP: Oklahoma City University faces Sooner Athletic Conference rival Southern Nazarene in the second of their home-and-home series this season.
It is the second of four consecutive conference road games for OCU. The two programs have combined for 12 NAIA women?s basketball national titles.

ABOUT THE STARS: OCU wiped out St. Gregory?s 81-45 on Monday at W.P. Wood Field House. The Stars are now 19-4, 8-4 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Romana Vynuchalova, a 6-foot-4 junior from Bratislava, Slovakia, surpassed her season high with 23 points. Vynchalova also had eight rebounds. Vynuchalova was named Sooner Athletic Conference player of the week after averaging 16 points and 4.5 rebounds last week.
Zanita Johnson, a 5-7 junior from Tulsa, Okla., had 14 points, six rebounds and seven assists against St. Gregory?s.
Alexandra Kotta, a 5-11 senior from Germantown, Md., leads the Stars with 14.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.91 steals per game. Kotta ranks 15th in the NAIA in steals.
The Stars are ranked 20th in NAIA Division I. OCU are the defending conference champions.
OCU is second in the nation in points allowed with 54.7 points per game. Southern Nazarene leads the overall series 33-23 after winning the last meeting 72-68 at Abe Lemons Arena on Jan. 18.

ABOUT THE CRIMSON STORM: Southern Nazarene put itself into a three-way tie for the SAC lead with a 77-53 win over Northwestern on Monday in Alva, Okla. No. 18-ranked Southern Nazarene improved to 18-4, 9-2.
Tejana Elmore, a 6-3 junior, had 15 points and six rebounds to lead Southern Nazarene. Mara Kee and Khady Ngom recorded 13 points each.
Ngom, a 5-10 senior, averages team highs in points (16.1), rebounds (7.1) and steals (1.86). SNU leads the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.23 assist-to-turnover per game).
Southern Nazarene was fifth in the preseason conference poll.

ABOUT THE COACHES: Rob Edmisson has a 353-126 record in 16 seasons as a head coach. Edmisson took the Stars to the NAIA quarterfinals and a 32-3 record his first season at OCU. Edmisson coached the only player drafted into the WNBA at OCU, Mariam Sy. He won 192 games at Hutchinson (Kan.) and 110 as a high-school coach in Kansas.
Lori Carter has a 125-89 record in seven seasons as a head coach at SNU and St. Gregory?s. Carter used to be an OCU assistant.
