ABOUT THE COACHES: Rob Edmisson has 320 victories in 16 seasons as a head coach. Edmisson, a graduate of Bethany (Kan.), came to OCU after a stint as an assistant at Oklahoma State. He won 200 games at Hutchinson (Kan.) and 110 as a high-school coach in Kansas.
Steve Gomez has a 39-32 record in three seasons. Gomez led the Lady Chaps to their first two NAIA Tournaments.

QUOTABLE: ?I thought defensively the second half we were really good the first 12-13 minutes and separated ourselves from them. I thought we eventually wore them down. I liked the tempo we played at. We kept pushing the ball. We did a better job the second ball of getting the ball to Mariam and giving her opportunities. Our kids did a great job of taking care of the ball in the second half which was a huge factor in us separating ourselves." ? Edmisson on the game Monday
?Lubbock Christian is bringing a nice team in. They?ve got good balance. They?ve got inside play and outside play. They?ve got some young guards who are effective at shooting the ball from the perimeter. Their post players are very skilled in secondary moves and shooting fadeaway shots. I think it?s going to be a great game. I think Lubbock Christian has one of their better teams from what I?ve heard in conference play.? ? Edmisson on Lubbock Christian
