OCU's O'Sullivan selected in MLB Draft

O'Sullivan picked in fourth round by L.A. Dodgers

Ryan O'Sullivan hit .250 with four home runs and 16 RBIs as a sophomore for San Diego State.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Ryan O'Sullivan has been chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday in the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
The Dodgers took O'Sullivan, a junior from El Cajon, Calif., with the 134th pick overall in the fourth round.
O'Sullivan sat out the past year redshirting with the Stars. He transferred to OCU following a two-year career at San Diego State.
With the Aztecs, O'Sullivan went 4-4, struck out 29 in 56.1 innings and posted a 6.71 earned run average in his career. He hit .259 with 10 home runs and 43 RBIs. The San Francisco Giants selected O'Sullivan in the 10th round of the 2008 draft.

The Stars went 47-12, won the Sooner Athletic Conference regular-season championship and the NAIA Championship Opening Round Oklahoma City Bracket to advance to the NAIA World Series for the 13th time in OCU history.
OCU owns the most wins in college baseball since 1991 at 1,070.OCU has produced 128 professional players and 57 selected in the draft. OCU coach Denney Crabaugh has mentored 117 future pros and 51 draftees in 24 years at OCU including 23 as head coach.
