OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University has announced the signing of soccer standouts Drew Hall of Edmond, Okla., and Ryan Sanders of Broken Arrow, Okla.
The two join a Stars squad that went 15-4-2 and advanced to the championship of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University assistant soccer coach Billy Martin has been named the Oklahoma Soccer Association state boys competitive youth coach of the year.
Martin has been coaching youth soccer since 1990 and is in his second year with the Oklahoma Football Club ‘92. Martin will be given his award Jan. 23, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel, 1 N. Broadway Avenue in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University soccer coach Brian Harvey has been selected to the Oklahoma Soccer Association Hall of Fame class of 2010.
Harvey has captured the most men’s and women’s victories of any soccer coach in NAIA history. He has coached the soccer programs at OCU since their inception. The men began in 1986, while the women started in 1994.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Alex Gang and Stuart Hilton of Oklahoma City University were named men’s soccer all-Americans by the NAIA recently.
Gang, a junior from Seoul, South Korea, and Hilton, a junior from Liverpool, England, were each selected as honorable-mention all-Americans.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Brandon Hull, Alex Gang and Tyler Morrissey of Oklahoma City University were named NAIA men’s soccer scholar-athletes, announced by the NAIA recently.
Hull, a senior from Yukon, Okla., and Morrissey, a senior from Edmond, Okla., became three-time NAIA scholar-athletes, while Gang, a junior from Seoul, South Korea, was honored for the first time.

BETHANY, Okla. – Alex Gang led No. 25 Oklahoma City University to a 3-2 double-overtime victory over Southern Nazarene on Monday night in the semifinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference men’s soccer tournament.
Gang, a junior from Seoul, South Korea, scored all three goals for OCU (15-3-2), including the game winner on a penalty kick with seven seconds left in the second overtime.

OKLAHOMA CITY – No. 25 Oklahoma City University eased past John Brown (Ark.) 2-0 in the opening round of the Sooner Athletic Conference men’s tournament Friday afternoon at Stars Field.
With the win, the Stars snapped a two-match winless streak and advanced to play at Southern Nazarene in the semifinals of the SAC tournament at 7 p.m. Monday.
