Bailey Coleman

Bailey Coleman enters her second year with the Oklahoma City University volleyball program. She aids Jen Gomez in all aspects of the program and guide the junior varsity program.

She helped the Stars go 33-8 and reach the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. Coleman was credited for the Stars’ improved play defensively.

Coleman became known for her all-out, inspirational play as a libero and outside hitter during a four-year playing career at NCAA Division I Georgia Southern. Coleman led the team in digs with 302 and 3.28 per game as a senior. She was second on the team in kills as a sophomore. For her career, Coleman posted 1,108 digs, 858 kills and 60 service aces.

From Awendaw, S.C., Coleman earned a slew of accolades playing for lower state champion Wando High School. As a senior, Coleman served as team captain and was named Lowcountry player of the year, Charleston Post and Courier player of the year, region player of the year and most valuable player of the CAWS North/South all-star game. She was region player of the year as a junior and played for the South Carolina Juniors, who advanced to the Junior Olympic National Championships.

Coleman earned her degree in health and physical education from Georgia Southern.
