Hank Aldous enters his first season with Oklahoma City University in 2019-20.
Prior to OCU, Aldous was the graduate assistant for the University of Denver. Some of his responsibilities included player development, scouting, film breakdown, day to day operations, and special assignments tasked by head coach Rodney Billups. During his time in Denver, he had the privilege of working with the development of professional players who play in various countries around the world.
Aldous played basketball collegiately at Hendrix (Ark.). He finished his career a two-time conference champion, 2015-16 Southern Athletic Association player of the year, '15-16 Arkansas small college player of the year and team captain for two years. Aldous led Hendrix to its first conference tournament championship in school history, and in the process was named most valuable player of the conference tournament. Aldous helped secure an NCAA Tournament appearance, also a first in program history.
During his time at Hendrix, Aldous was a member of a 25-win team that was ranked in the top 10 nationally throughout the season. The team made an appearance in the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
A native of Dallas, Aldous earned a Master of Arts in Sport Coaching from the University of Denver in 2019. He completed his undergraduate work at Hendrix College with a degree in Sports Management. Aldous appreciates the tremendous support he has received from his family and friends, and attributes his work ethic and dedication to student-athlete development and welfare to them.
