BETHANY – After dropping a close first set, Oklahoma City won three consecutive games to defeat Southwestern Christian in Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball on Tuesday.

The Stars won, 25-26, 25-21, 25-19, 21-16.

OCU found themselves down 13-11 in the second set but robbed SCU's momentum with a 5-0 run, highlighted by three aces by
Katelyn Stephenson.
Erin Mack and
Amber Jones had kills in a set-clinching 3-0 run.

The Stars trailed by as many as five points in the third set before rallying. OCU used a 6-0 run that included two kills by Mack to take an 18-13 lead.
Kacie Townsend ended the set with a kill.

OCU never trailed in the final set and led by as many as 10 points.
Maddie Edwards ended the match with a kill.

Townsend led the Stars with 21 kills while Jones added 15 and
Bailey Lowder 10.
Rylie Steward had 49 assists.

Kate Cleofe led the defense with 20 digs, followed by Townsend with 12 and
Ryan Leland with 11. Edwards led the front row defense with six blocks.
