DUNCAN – Second-ranked Oklahoma City takes a seven-stroke lead into the final round of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament after a pair of strong rounds on Monday.
 
The Stars shot nine under par as a team in the first round and three over in the second to stand at six over through two rounds. The Stars have a seven-stroke lead over No. 9 Texas Wesleyan and nine stroke over eighth-ranked USAO.
 
Carter Ray leads the field at five under par, Jack Newton is fourth at two under. Christian Yanovitch is ninth at one over, Simon Jansson is 14^th at four over and Cameron Bozyk is 17^th at five over.
 
As for OCU's individual entrants, Lorenzo Santinelli is third at four under, Philipp Perzl is 10^th at two over and Luke Woods is 24^th at nine over.
 
In the first round, Ray was six under par with birdies on holes five, six, 12, 15, 16 and 17. He birdied holes one, six, 11, 13 and 14 in his one-over par second round.
 
Newton was four under par with birdies on one, two, five, seven, 11 and 13. He was two over in the second round with birdies on two, nine, 11 and 15.
 
Jansson got to even par in the first round with an eagle on his last hole, the par-five, 566-yard second hole. He also birdied three, nine, 15 and 16. In the second round, Jansson was four over with birdies on six, nine and 11.
 
Yanovitch birdied holes seven and 11 in the first round on his way to one over par. Bozyk had three birdies on five, 10 and 16 and shot four over for the first round. He added birdies on six, 11 and 15 in the second round for even par.
 
Santinelli had birdies on two, six, seven, 10, 14, 15 and 18 during his four-under first round. He was even par in the second round with birdies on 10 and 11.
 
Perzl was three over in the first round with birdies on the first and second holes. He had the lone OCU sub-par round in the afternoon, shooting one under with birdies on two, six, 11, 15 and 16.
 
Woods birdied the fifth hole and finished seven over in the first round. He was two over in the second round with birdies on 11 and 15.
 
The tournament concludes on Tuesday.
