OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City sends 25 athletes to the Sooner Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships Thursday through Saturday in Waxahachie, Texas.
 
The meet begins on Thursday with predominantly heptathlon and decathlon events at 1:15 p.m. The first finals of the meet are Thursday evening with the women's and men's 10K starting at 7:35 and 8:20 p.m., respectively.
 
OCU will be represented by Halen Biggs, Riley Randall, Jackson Fowler, Jack Reed, Demarion Dean, Javier Medina, Alexander Daly., Ryan McLaughlin, Braydon Witthorne, Ayenew Devany, Omari Smith, Cooper Phillips, Jacoby Nance, Carson Patten and Isaiah Smith in the men's events.
 
Alexandria Horn. Erika Pena, Isabelle Spiller, Emily Schneider, Isabella Gutierrez, Kenzi Readnour, Keira Readnour, Vanessa Perez, Tabytha Roy and Makenzi DeHart represent the Stars in the women's events.
 
The OCU women finished second in the meet by one point last season. The Stars were seventh in the men's standings.
