OCU Falls Twice at USAO

CHICKASHA – Oklahoma City dropped both ends of the doubleheader at No. 8 USAO on Saturday, falling 2-1 and 7-1.

The Stars got their lone run in the sixth inning on an RBI double by Peyton Barrow.
 
Barrow also had a single to lead OCU's six-hit offense.
 
Brynlee Alsip allowed two unearned runs in taking the pitching loss.

Gabby Moreno had an RBI groundout in the seventh inning to break up the shutout.
 
Analise Rayburn had a double to lead the OCU offense, which produced five hits.
 
Morgandee Sawatzky pitched two scoreless innings of relief.
 
The Stars travel to Langston on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. doubleheader before finishing the regular season at home next weekend with a four-game set against Southwestern Christian.
