Oklahoma City – Sacha Brendle of Wayland Baptist and Logan Allen of Oklahoma City have been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.  
 
Brendle took part in The Battle at Laughlin Ranch in Bullhead City, Ariz., and placed in a tie for second in the event. Brendle fired rounds of 74-72-68 for a two-under-par score of 214 that included 14 birdies for the week. His final round helped move him up 10 spots into a tie for the runner-up position as the Pioneers finished eighth in the team chase that featured many of the top golfers in the NAIA this spring.

Allen claimed her second straight weekly award after finishing ninth in the Ozark National Invitational held in Hollister, Mo. Allen shot rounds of 75-76-74 for a nine-over-par score of 225 in a field that featured golfers from the NCAA Division I ranks. Allen's efforts were key to the Stars finishing 11^th in the team battle, the best finish by a non-NCAA Division I team.
