OKLAHOMA CITY – Fourth-ranked Oklahoma City is on the road for six Sooner Athletic Conference games this week, visiting Langston on Wednesday for two games before heading to Texas to play Nelson in a four-game weekend set.

Previously: Oklahoma City completed the four-game sweep over visiting Texas Wesleyan with a pair of run-rule victories on Saturday, 8-0 and 9-1. The Stars improved to 23-3 overall and 12-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Honors: Oklahoma City swept the Sooner Athletic Conference honors on Monday with
Analise Rayburn and
Brynlee Alsip getting Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively. Â Rayburn claimed her third weekly award by leading the Stars to a 4-0 record last week by going 5-of-6 at the plate for an average of .833. Rayburn had a double and three home runs over the span while driving in nine runs and scoring eight times herself. Rayburn also drew eight walks during the week. She finished with a 2.500 slugging percentage and a .929 on-base percentage. Alsip earned her third weekly honor by garnering three wins last week over Texas Wesleyan. Alsip surrendered only two runs, with neither of those being earned, and had two strikeouts over the span. Alsip wrapped up the week with a WHIP of .75 and a .88 strikeouts per seven innings.
