BETHANY – Oklahoma City exploded for 18 runs in an 18-10 victory over former conference rival Southern Nazarene on Tuesday.

The Stars got after the Crimson Storm from the jump, scoring five times in the top of the first.
Clayton Allen had an RBI double and
Aiden Van Rensum drove in two runs with an RBI single.
Jack Johnson added an RBI double and
Brittain Brewer added an RBI ground out.

Allen scored on a double play in the second and
Heath Brown came home on an error in the fourth to give OCU a 7-1 lead.

Eli Hill doubled in two runs and Brown singled in another in a three-run fifth for a 10-3 lead.
Wyatt Pace added an RBI double in the sixth.

SNU pulled to within 11-7 before the Stars erupted for seven runs in the ninth. Hill had an RBI double and
Aiden Alexander singled in a run.
Trent Baker added a two-run double and Van Rensum clouted a three-run home run.

The Stars had 17 hits, led by Allen and Van Rensum with three each. Baker, Hill and Brown had two each.

Spencer Biggerstaff pitched a perfect fifth inning and was awarded the pitching win.

OCU heads back to Bethany this weekend for a Sooner Athletic Conference series at Southwestern Christian. The teams play a noon doubleheader on Friday and a single game at noon on Saturday.
