OKLAHOMA CITY – Leighanne Eaton of Science & Arts and
Brynlee Alsip of Oklahoma City have been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Eaton paced the Drovers to a perfect 4-0 record to open the season by going 9-of-12 at the plate for a batting average of .750. Eaton had two doubles and a home run over the span with 11 runs batted in while scoring four times herself. Eaton finished the week with a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .769 on-base percentage.

Alsip aided the Stars to a 4-0 record last week as she appeared in three contests and picked up a pair of wins during the span. Alsip had eight strikeouts in 10 innings pitched as she did not surrender a run in those innings. Alsip wrapped up the week with a 1.10 WHIP and a 0.00 earned run average.
