OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University men's wrestling has a pair of duals and a possible trip to a weekend tournament on the schedule for Feb. 3-7.
 
OCU takes on Avila and Friends in Wichita on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and is scheduled to wrestle in the Missouri Valley Open in Marshall, Mo., on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Ratings: The Stars remained fifth in the Jan. 29 ratings with two top-ranked wrestlers. Tate Picklo and 174 and John Wiley at 157 stayed on top of their weight class rankings. Nine other Stars made the last poll in January. Rafael Lovatto debuted at No. 25 at 285 pounds. Cash Donnell jumped two spots to No. 10 at 125 and Jake Moon moved up to 10^th at 157. Vincent Citrano (No. 8 at 133), Kaden Fetterolf (No. 4, 149) and Jordan Lomeli (No. 8, 165) all held their previous spots in the poll. Also for OCU, Hayden Brown is ranked 23^rd at 165, Cole Olguin is No. 21 at 184 and Omari Smith is No. 15 at 197.
 
Previously: Fifth-ranked Oklahoma City picked up a Sooner Athletic Conference victory over No. 21 Wayland Baptist, 25-20, back on Jan. 17.  The Stars got technical falls from Jace Province at 141, Hayden Brown at 165 and Omari Smith at 197. Jake Moon at 175 scored a major decision. Vincent Citrano and Alex Wilson won by decision.
 
About Avila: Avila is 4-3 in duals this season and has one ranked wrestler. Rodney Trotter is ranked 21^st at 197.
 
About Friends: Friends is the No. 18 team in the NAIA poll and comes in at 5-4 in duals. The Falcons have six wrestlers in the NAIA rankings, led by Cayleb Atkins, who is 12^th at 157.
