OKLAHOMA CITY –
Aiden Van Rensum hit for the cycle and Oklahoma City claimed a 20-10 run-rule victory over No. 12 Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday.

The teams combined for 10 home runs (five each) and the Stars trailed by three runs on two occasions before finishing with 13 runs in the final four innings.

Van Rensum was five-for-five with five RBIs and
Trent Baker ended the game with a three-run home run with Van Rensum on deck. He had a two-run home run in the first inning, an RBI single in the second, a base hit in the fourth, a leadoff double in the sixth and a two-run triple in the seventh.

Wyatt Pace followed Van Rensum's first-inning home run with a solo shot to tie the game at 3-3.

Sammy Ponce launched his first home run in the second and Pace added an RBI single to give OCU a 7-6 lead.

The Eagles moved ahead, 10-7, but
Cooper Holtorf came up with a three-run double to tie things up in the bottom of the fifth.

Pace had an RBI double and
Will Ellis and Ponce added RBI singles to give OCU the lead for good, 13-10, in the sixth.

Van Rensum's triple and a two-run home run by Ellis gave OCU a 17-10 bulge in the seventh and Baker's three-run round-tripper ended things in the eighth.

The Stars had 18 hits with Pace and Ellis adding three each. Holtorf, Baker and Ponce had two apiece.

Dalton Campbell pitched four innings of scoreless relief to get the pitching win.

The Stars return to action this weekend, hosting Wayland Baptist in Sooner Athletic Conference action.
