OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City came out on top of a baseball marathon, 16-15, over Sterling in 11 innings on Tuesday.

Dalton Campbell strung together 3.1 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win after neither team could be held to back-to-back scoreless innings for the first eight frames.
Cooper Holtorf sent the home fans away happy with a walk-off RBI double after
Brittain Brewer singled and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by
Aiden Alexander.

The 3:53-minute game saw seven home runs among the 31 hits, 13 walks, nine hit batsmen, 23 strikeouts, 17 pitchers, 407 pitches and 20 runners left on base.

There were six lead changes in the game.

Alexander had a personal record five hits in the game to go with three runs, a home run and two RBIs.
Aiden Van Rensum and
Jack Johnson had two home runs each. Van Rensum ended up with three hits and four RBIs while Johnson drove in three.

Wyatt Pace each had two hits and an RBI.
Trent Baker,
Will Ellis and Brewer had one RBI each with Ellis' coming on a home run.

The Stars are scheduled to play Central Christian in Kansas, weather permitting, on Friday and Saturday to start Sooner Athletic Conference action.
