GOODWELL – Oklahoma City maintained its season-long Sooner Athletic Conference road winning streak with a 76-63 win at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Thursday.

The Stars, now 9-2 in the league, including a 6-0 mark away from home, remained tied with Langston and Nelson atop the SAC standings.

OCU took the lead for good with 16:09 left in the first half. The lead peaked at 18 points midway through the second half.

Jonas Carlisle led OCU with 19 points while
Destin Jenkins and
SaVaughn Smith added 14 apiece.

Alphonse Muteba had 11 rebounds and matched Carlisle for the team assists lead with four.

The Stars are back in action Saturday, visiting Wayland Baptist at 4 p.m. in Plainview, Texas.
