Wrestler of the Week: OCU's
John Wiley earned Sooner Athletic Conference and NAIA Wrestler of the Week after his 5-0 performance at the NWCA Dual Nationals. The 165-pounder posted three wins by fall, including victories over No. 4 Antwaun Burns (2:36) and No. 20 Brayden Forman (2:16). He recorded a win by major decision over No. 13 Avant Stepherson (12-0), and battled to a win by decision against No. 10 Malachia Harris (5-3).Â

Previously: Sixth-ranked Oklahoma City finished seventh at the NWCA National Duals Championship, going 1-1 on Saturday. The Stars lost to fifth-ranked Southern Oregon, 25-15, before finishing the tournament with a 29-11 win over No. 12 Cumberlands.

John Wiley each went 2-0 on Saturday to finish the weekend at 4-0. Fetterolf, ranked fourth at 149 pounds, scored 15-0 technical fall over eleventh-ranked Kolten Malone of Southern Oregon and got a decision in the Cumberlands match. Third-ranked Wiley won his 157-pound matches with a major decision over No. 13 Avant Stepherson and a decision against tenth-ranked Malachia Harris.

New Guy: Rafael Lovato made his debut with the Stars last week. The 42-year-old jiu-jitsu master went 3-2 at the NWCA Nationals, squaring off against nationally ranked teams.
