OKLAHOMA CITY – The NAIA Game of the Week played to a 2-2 between Oklahoma City and Mid-America Christian, despite a brace by OCU's
Harrison Knight.

Dubbed first (MACU) and second (OCU) in the Sooner Athletic Conference preseason poll, MACU won the league title last season and the Stars took the postseason championship. Saturday night's battle was the Sooner Athletic Conference for both teams.

Knight scored his first goal on a frantic attack by OCU in the sixth minute. A shot by
Thomas Brulay went off the post.
Bernardo Duarte booted the ricochet off the glove of MACU keeper Dante Caffaro and Knight found the opening for the 1-0 lead.

Haruya Higuchi tied it for MACU in the 55
th minute but the Stars retook the lead with a goal by Knight in the 83
rd minute.

MACU got the final equalizer from Federico Palacios in the 87
th minute.

The Stars outshot their guest 17-7 with
Ethan Taylor,
Bernardo Duarte and
Ruben Fahiya all posting shots on goal.

Alexis Bertrand had a pair of saves.

The Stars return to action Monday, hosting Oklahoma Panhandle State at 3:30 p.m.
