LE MARS, Iowa – Oklahoma City moved up to third in the final round of the Northwest Iowa Invitational on Tuesday.
 
The Stars finished at 18 under par with rounds of 283, 277 and 274.
 
"Proud of the way my guys battled," said OCU Head Coach Blake Trimble. "Nobody quite had their A game, but we managed to shoot the low round the last day and still finish in the top 3! Plenty of things to work on, but excited about where we are headed! Looking forward to finishing the fall schedule strong!"

Carter Ray finished seventh at seven under with a round of 67 on Tuesday. He eagled the third hole and had six birdies, finishing with 14. Ray went 70-69-67 for the tournament.
 
Christian Yanovitch was ninth at six under par with rounds of 72-68-67. He eagled the 15^th hole and ended Tuesday's round with three birdies. He had 13 birdies over the 54 holes.
 
Lorenzo Santinelli was 28^th at even par after rounds of 72, 70 and 71. He had four birdies on Tuesday and finished with 12.
 
Philipp Perzl had four birdies on Tuesday and went 71-74-69 for the tournament. He ended up with 10 birdies and tied Simon Jansson for 32^nd place at one over par.
 
Jansson went 70-70-74 with three eagles and seven birdies for the tournament, including two birdies on Tuesday.
 
Jack Newton, as an individual entrant, had rounds of 72, 73 and 76. He had a birdie during the final round to bring his total to seven.
 
The Stars return to action Sept. 29-30 at The Invite at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Fla.
