BAKER, Kan.—  Oklahoma City University and its 16th-ranked team in the country traveled to Baker, Kan., on Sunday to play the 15th-ranked Wildcats. How it Happened
Within the first 10 minutes of the match, the only goal scored during the contest took place. In the seventh minute, Baker scored a penalty kick goal netted by Akira Itadani. Defensive pressure and physicality were commonplace during the match between OCU and Baker. Collectively, both teams amassed 10 yellow cards and 41 fouls. There were only eight total shots produced by both squads, and the Stars failed to land a single shot on goal, which did not occur even once last season for OCU. A late yellow card gave the Stars another chance to tie the game. A corner kick by Ruben Fahiya in the 87th minute was the last offensive effort by Oklahoma City, and unfortunately, the equalizer never came.

Game Notes

  • The Stars collected three in the match.
  • OCU totaled five yellow cards.
  • Oklahoma City did not attempt a corner kick in the first half.
