OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City University women's soccer earned its first victory of the 2025 season in its home opener with a 6-0 shutout effort against the University of the Southwest. Thursday marked the first time Brian Harvey Field played host to a match this year. Multiple Stars were able to break through in the second half and chip in to the overpowering offensive onslaught. Nearly two and a half decades have passed since the last time OCU and USW played one another.

From the Coach
Assistant Coach Harvey Paul on the second-half surge, "We were much more clinical in the second half and kept shots away from our goalkeeper." Paul went on to say, "Some positives are the clean sheet and multiple goal scorers." Improving on defensive decision-making in attacking areas is noteworthy to Coach Paul.
