Starting in the second inning, OCU amassed multiple runs. Grace Pollen slashed an RBI single to right-center field, which drove in
Rally Radacy. Following the RBI single by Pollon,
Tara Hoehner notched an RBI double, which plated three OCU base runners—
Tiffany Paul,

However, the scoring did not stop there for the Stars. After tallying four runs in the second inning, OCU scored three more in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth inning.
Adding to the offensive onslaught in the fifth inning was
Analise Rayburn, who sent a home run over the wall, driving in Hoehner. Kendalyn Miller then found herself involved in the scoring production for the Stars—her sacrifice fly brought home
Emersen Heron.
Heron then proceeded to provide herself with two runs worth of support after she singled and drove in Hoehner and Ashford. Miller, a sophomore from Duncan, Oklahoma, added to her RBI total by singling up the middle and bringing Rayburn home.
Heron ended up collecting her eighth win of the season and pitched a full seven innings for a complete-game victory on the mound.
