HAYS, Kan. – Oklahoma City had two champions, a runner-up and two top-four finishes at Fort Hays State's Bob Smith Open on Saturday.
 
Alexis Miller won at 110, posting three falls and a technical fall. She pinned Katelyn Faczak of Adams State in 48 seconds to win the crown.
 
After a first-round technical fall, Makayla Munoz decisioned three consecutive opponents, culminating in a 4-0 win in the 160 finals over Azana King of Schreiner.
 
Bryce White dominated three opponents before falling in the finals on a 7-4 decision to take second in 131.
 
Ella Murphey used three falls and finished third in 207.
 
Finishing fourth at 138, Anna Vogt went 5-2 on the day with three falls.
 
"The girls wrestled extremely tough today," said OCU Head Coach Will McKinney. "It was great to see Miiller get back to her winning ways on the mat. Kayla Munoz earned a big win over last year's SAC conference champion and she came away with her first college tournament title. Freshman Anna Vogt is starting to shake off those early freshman nerves and compete at the level we knew she was capable of when we brought her in. We're just really proud of the way all the girls competed today."
 
The Stars are back in action on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Avila Open.
