LAKELAND, Fla. – Third-ranked Southeastern handed fifth-ranked Oklahoma City its first loss of the season, 30-17, on Friday in a dual filed with Top 25 matchups.
 
The Stars got their victories at 125, 157 and 174.
 
Cash Donnell, ranked 14^th at 125 needed only 81 seconds to pin Jacob Bucci to give OCU a quick 6-0 lead.
 
Hayden Wright wrestled up from his usual 125 to 133 and went more than five minutes with top-ranked Aaron Lucio before Lucio got the technical fall, 21-5, at 5:38.
 
Jace Province pushed No. 16 Drew Jones but lost in an 8-1 decision. SEU took an 11-6 lead when second-ranked Andrew Voiles scored an 11-7 decision over No. 12 Kolby Depron at 149.
 
Fourth-ranked John Wiley evened the score with a technical fall over No 18 Justin Krebs at 157 in 1:59, up 17-2.
 
The Fire went 15-11 with a major decision at 165 when No. 8 Jovon Mitchell scored the 18-4 win over No. 12 Hayden Brown.
 
The Stars went ahead 17-15 after second-ranked Tate Picklo scored a 54-second fall over No. 19 Ty Rodriguez at 174.
 
Jonathan Vanderbilt decisioned No. 11 Bryce Milster to deliver the lead to SEU for good, 18-17.
 
Sixth-ranked Kasten Grape clinched the dual with a win over Cole Olguin at 197. Olguin is ranked 22^nd at 184 pounds.
 
OCU continues its weekend in Florida on Saturday in the Southeastern Open.
