About the Open: The Bob Smith Open has talents NCAA, NAIA and junior college squads. Along with OCU, NAIA entrants include No. 16 Hastings and national poll vote-getter Midland. There are four NCAA schools in the field with NWCA rankings. Colorado Mesa is eighth, Adams State is No. 12, Fort Hays State is No. 20 and Schreiner is No. 22.
