OKLAHOMA CITY – Seventh-ranked Oklahoma City men's wrestling has a pair of home dates upcoming as OCU hosts Ouachita Baptist on Sunday and Central Baptist on Tuesday.
The Stars host OBU at 2 p.m. and CBC at 7 p.m.

The Baptists are Coming: This will be Ouachita Baptist's first trip to OCU since 2018 and the first dual since 2019. OCU won both of those duals – 28-20 last year and 30-13 at home in 2018. The Stars are 9-0 all-time against Central Baptist, including a 53-0 shelling in the last meeting in Conway, Arkansas in 2024.

Previously: Seventh-ranked Oklahoma City came from behind to score a 27-19 victory over Tarleton State in the home men's wrestling opener for the seventh-ranked Stars.
Hayden Wright got the Stars on the scoreboard with a 12-7 decision over Noah Clayton but after an OCU forfeit at 133, and a TSU major decision, the Stars trailed 10-3.
Kaden Fetterolf and
John Wiley righted the ship with Fetterolf getting a major decision and Wiley a technical fall to bring OCU to the lead, 12-10. The Texans briefly retook the lead but a forfeit win for
Tate Picklo made it 18-16 for the home team.
Cole Olguin pinned Laird Borbon with 12 seconds left in the match at 184 and
Bryce Milster clinched the victory at 197 with an 11-7 decision over Colin Vasquez.
Making His Home Debut: Third-ranked
Tate Picklo takes the mat for the first time on Sunday. He won by forfeit in the season opener. He likely squares off with Ethan Day, who was a junior college All-American at Carl Albert last season.
Scouting Ouachita Baptist: The Tigers are 2-1 in duals. After opening with a loss, OBU scored wins over Drury and Williams Baptist. Ouachita is ranked 25
th in NCAA Division II.
Scouting Central Baptist: The Mustangs have been in the same two tournaments as OCU and begin their duals this weekend against Louisiana Tech and Lyon.
