CHICKASHA – Oklahoma City and Science and Arts Oklahoma played to a scoreless draw in Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Tuesday.
OCU just missed a score in the 88
th minute when
Nathan Fergeson's shot went off the post and moments later Stars keeper
Alexis Bertrand punched away a late attack to preserve the tie.
Oklahoma City outshot its host 10-6 with
Thomas Brulay and
Juan Erazo testing the USAO keeper once each.
Betrand successfully turned away the only challenge USAO made on the night.
With the tie, OCU stays behind John Brown in the conference standings, 9-8.
The Stars are back in action on Saturday, hosting Texas Wesleyan at 3:30 p.m.
