OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City came up short in a champion-deciding contest with John Brown on Tuesday, falling 1-0.
 
John Brown scored in the 85^th minute and carried away the regular season title. OCU will play for the third seed in its makeup game at Central Christian on Friday. A win gives OCU the No. 3 seed but a loss or a tie sends the Stars to the fourth seed.
 
Candela Blanco had a season-high eight saves in the loss.
 
The Stars had only five shots with shots on goal by Yami Ponce, Reese Roberts and Ali Daugherty.
 
OCU plays at CCC at 1 p.m. and starts the postseason with a home game on Wednesday.
