LANGSTON, Okla. - The Oklahoma City Men's Basketball team saw four players score in double-figures on Thursday night as Langston made way to a 12-point win depsite a 46 point second half form OCU.

STAT OF THE GAME: Oklahoma City saw solid production from its bench on Thursday night with a total of 22 points from its reserves as
James Cloud led the way with 14 points while
Nick Bonifay and
Lawrence Taylor Jr scored four each.
FIRST HALF: To open the first 10 minutes Langston created a 19-4 run and only four points from Oklahoma City across a five minutes span placed OCU in a 19 point hole at the end of the half. Oklahoma City turned the ball over 13 times in the first half as the Lions led by double-digits for the final 11:10 of play.
SECOND HALF: Oklahoma City began to heat up coming out of the locker room as the Stars put up 23 points in the first 10 minutes as
Brandon Wilson scored seven straight points before
Avery Jackson cut the deficit down to 13. Over the next seven minutes Langston put together a 21-10 run to drive the lead up to 24 points, its largest lead of the night. To finish off the game Oklahoma City held the Lions to one point in the final 3:21 while Oklahoma City rattled off 12 of its own as
Nick Bonifay and
James Cloud cashed in from three while
Lawrence Taylor Jr tallied the last four points for OCU to bring the final result to 82-70.
GAME NOTES
- Oklahoma City drops its fifth straight contest moving its overall record to 10-12 while holding a 6-12 record in SAC play.
- Avery Jackson finished with a team-high 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the foul line while hauling in six rebounds.
- Brandon Wilson dropped 15 points on a perfect 6-for-6 night from the stripe as the junior from Los Angeles brought in a team-high eight rebounds.
- Yorgio Golesis scored in double-figures for the fifth time over the last games with 14 points, three assists and two steals. Golesis rained home a season-best three three-pointers surpassing three games this season where he made two.
- Off the bench James Cloud brought a spark for OCU with 14 points to secure double-digits for the third time over the last four games. Cloud shot a perfect 3-for-3 from the line to set a season-high in three-pointers made.
- The two teams split the season-series after the Stars took down the number one ranked Lions back on Nov. 21 by a score of 66-61.
NEXT TIME OUT: Oklahoma City returns home for the first time since Jan. 18 and will take on Central Christian inside Abe Lemons Arena at 4:00 PM.
