LE MARS, Iowa - The Oklahoma City men's golf team won its second consecutive tournament after coming out on top in the Northwest Iowa Invitational.
Oklahoma City beat out Texas Wesleyan by two strokes to claim the crown as MIchael Robson and
Carter Ray finished tied for second, being the second tournament in a row the Stars have had someone finish runner-up.
Ray got off to a strong start having the Stars at three under par in the opening 18 holes and completed the tournament at one under.
Michael Robson matched Ray's score to tie for second after shooting one under in the first round before going even in the next two to finish one under for the tournament.
Tres HIll began his tournament run with a solid opening round at three under, however Hill went +2 and +5 in the following two rounds to finish four over for the tournament and claim a 17th place finish.
Lorenzo Santinelli came in 21st overall after having his best round at one under through the first 18 holes before going +1 and +5 to finish five over.
Rounding out the Stars lineup was
Philipp Perzl who shot 11 over despite having the teams best score in a single round at -4.
