EDMOND, Okla. - The Oklahoma City women's soccer team faced an NCAA Division II opponent in Oklahoma Christian on Monday night suffering its first loss of the season.

Oklahoma City got off three shots in the first half but could not find the back of the net similar to Oklahoma Christian who got off six shots without scoring as Stars keeper
Gemma Harvey made three saves in the first 45.Â
 It didn't take long out of the break for the Eagles to get on the board scoring in the 48th minute of play on a goal from Kyla Lovelace. OCU got off five more shots in the half but could not connect leading to its first defeat of the season by a 1-0 score.

- With the loss, Oklahoma City moves to 4-1 on the year while being shutout for the first time this season.Â
- The Stars got off their least amount of shots in a match this season with just eight while four came on goal.
- Gemma Harvey set a season-high with five saves passing her previous high of four set against Jarvis Christian on Aug. 24.
- Off the bench, Inka Silz led Oklahoma City with two shots while having one on-goal.
