MARIAN, Ind. - The Oklahoma City women's track and field team was highlighted by two top-10 finishes by
Louise Cocking in 2024 NAIA Outdoor National Championships.
Louise Cocking led Oklahoma City with a ninth place finish in the 5000 meters and a fourth place spot in the 10,000 meters. Cocking set a new personal record in the 10k race with a time of 36:39.50 meeting the NAIA A Standard.
Cailen Jolley secured a 12th place bid in the 800 meters with an NAIA A Standard time of 2:12.92.
Wrapping up the championships in the 4x800 relay of
Florencia Cabrera,
Erika Pena,
Isabelle Spiller and
Cailen Jolley finishing with a time of 9:23.89 coming in 16th overall.
British Columbia won the Red Banner with a 137-point team performance.
