STERLING, Kan. - The Oklahoma City baseball team got five RBIs and two home runs from its clean-up batter
Trent Kiraly as the Stars take down Sterling 15-7 in Tuesday's non-conference contest.

Oklahoma City earned its 30th win on the season as the Stars improve to 30-14 overall while Sterling drops to 19-26.Â
It was the second time the two schools have squared off this season as the Warriors made an appearance at Denney Crabaugh Field at Jim Wade Stadium on Feb. 20 where OCU ran away with an 18-3 win.Â
Sterling became the team the score first after getting a run across to take a 1-0 lead. The Warrior lead was short lived as the Stars put together a seven run inning in the top of the second by sending 11 batters to the plate.
Barrett Daniel got the big inning started by singling to right field and tying the game before the Stars took the lead for good as
Hunter Brown took a bases loaded hit by pitch.Â
Hunter Lenochan was the only Star to drive in multiple runs in the second inning with a base hit to left driving in
Tristan Williams and
Spencer Biggerstaff.Â
Oklahoma City went on to score one in the fifth on Kiraly's first home of the afternoon before the Stars strung together another big inning in the sixth by putting up five runs with three of them coming off the bat of
Chad Pike hitting his 15th home run of the year.Â
In the seventh, Kiraly went yard once again bringing his season total to 19 while finishing off his day 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and five RBIs.Â
Oklahoma City got its 15 runs on 11 hits and no errors while Sterling got seven runs and outhit OCU with 13 while committing two miscues.Â
Hunter Lenochan extended his hitting streak to four games after going 1-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs.Â
For the second straight game
Chad Pike tallied three runs batted in after his three-run homer in the sixth. Pike finished the game 1-for-3 and scored for the third straight after coming across twice the ball game.Â
Aiden Alexander doubled for the seventh time this year which extended his hitting streak to six games in a row.Â
It was a bullpen game for the Stars as head coach
Keith Lytle sent seven pitchers into the game where it was
Aiden Van Rensum coming away with the win. It was Van Rensum's first win of the season after allowing two runs on five hits in three innings pitched.Â
Anthony Kopecky was the only Stars pitcher to throw an inning or more without giving up a run as the senior right-hander sat down Sterling in order while collecting one strikeout.Â
Oklahoma City will return back home to wrap up the regular season on Friday with a doubleheader starting at 4 PM with senior day coming on Saturday at noon.
