Oklahoma City starting pitcher Andrew Limbaugh got through five scoreless innings in the first game of the series before SAGU became the first one on the board in the sixth as Andrew Ortiz gave the Lions the lead with a two-run double.
In the seventh, Jaxson Bates gave the Lions an insurance run with a solo homer to left to put SAGU up 3-0.
OCU finally crossed the plate in the last inning of play as Aiden Alexander brought in Tristan Williams for the Stars first and only run of the game.
Oklahoma City was held to just five hits and went without any extra-base hits as the singles came from Reese Ratchford, Darian Duhon, Aiden Van Rensum, Tristan Williams, and Aiden Alexander.

After falling behind 5-1, Oklahoma City made its way back to tie the game in the sixth with home runs by Aiden Van Rensum and Reese Ratchford.
SAGU was able to bounce back in the following frame with two runs which gave the Lions the win of 7-5.
Reese Ratchford led the way with a team-high three hits after launching his second home run of the season to go along with two RBIs.
Aiden Van Resnum joined Ratchford with his seventh long ball of the season after going 1-for-2 on the day with an RBI and a run scored.
Darian Duhon and Aiden Alexander both tabbed multiple base hits as Duhon came up with an RBI and a run scored while Alexander went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

OCU avoided the sweep in game three by putting four of its five runs in the top of the first inning after Trent Kiraly drove in Hunter Lenochan before Aiden Van Resnum came up with the bases loaded and drove in three runs with a double to the centerfield wall.
Despite the Lions scoring in the bottom of the first, Oklahoma City held on to its lead and added one more run in the fourth with Reese Ratchford driving in Aiden Alexander on a single to right putting the Stars up 5-3.
Ratchford made his fourth start of the season on Saturday going 5.1 innings pitched allowing five runs on three hits and tied a season-high six strikeouts.
The Stars five hits were enough to get the job done as Van Rensum's three RBI double gave him 38 RBIs on the year which is second on the team behind Trent Kiraly.
Chad Pike came on to earn his ninth save of the season tying the NAIA lead after throwing 1.2 innings of no-hit ball while closing the door on the Lions with one strikeout.
