LANGSTON, Okla. - The Oklahoma City softball team wrapped up its road series with Langston with two more wins on Friday moving the winning streak to 11 games after scoring 52 runs across the four game series.

In game one the Stars (29-2, 18-1 SAC) secured an 11-2 six inning run rule victory as OCU was led by freshman
Tara Hoehner going 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs, four runs scored and a double to go along with her sixth home run of the season.
Emersen Heron went 2-of-2 at the plate with two RBIs and three runs scored after joining Hoehner with a homer and a double.
Baileigh Loux,
Kaitlyn Jones and
Iliana Ashford all racked up multiple base hits as Jones and Ashford tabbed a run batted in while Loux scored two of the Stars 11 runs.Â
Brynlee Alsip made just her third start of the season as she picked up her fourth win of the season with four strikeouts in six innings limiting the Langston to two runs on four hits.

Game two was a 16-2 five inning run rule win with
Emersen Heron leading the charge on offense going 2-of-3 with four RBIs and three runs scored which included home runs in the second and third inning to take the team lead with eight on the year.
Six Stars collected multiple hits in game two while
Kindalyn Miller,
Baileigh Loux,
Kaylee Witte and
Iliana Ashford all tabbed doubles while
Tiffany Paul notched her second triple of the season.
Oklahoma City (30-2, 19-1 SAC) used seven runs in the second with six runs coming in the third. Eight of the Stars hitters collected at least one RBI each while
Grace Pollon followed in behind a Heron with a season-high three RBI in game two.
Heron made the start inside the circle remaining a perfect 13-0 after getting the win. Heron held Langston to just one hit through four innings before the Lions finished the game with two runs in the fifth wrapping up Heron's day of giving up two runs on three hits while picking up six strikeouts without any walks.Â
