OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Stars women's wrestling team narrowly fell to the 7th-ranked Texas Wesleyan Rams, 24-25.
In their first dual match of the 2024-25 season, the Stars unveiled their new lineup, winning five out of ten weight classes. Key victories came in the 110, 117, and 160-pound weight classes.
Avery Ashley and
Nadia Alejandres each secured pins, helping the Stars open the night with a three-match winning streak. Additionally,
Corin Lowe earned a hard-fought 14-9 decision at 160 pounds.
