MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Oklahoma City men's golf team won its third tournament of the fall schedule by four strokes over Marian University as
Lorenzo Santinelli finished second.
Lorenzo Santinelli finished as the top Star and second overall in the Memphis shootout with his best round performance coming in the first 18 holes with the top score of any golfer in round one at -4. Santinelli shot even in round two and was able to mantain his second place finish despite shooting five over in the final round. Santinelli completed his 54 hole tournament at one over par.
Philipp Perzl and
Tres Hill both finished tied for fifth at seven over par. Both players shot +2 in the opening round while Perzl's best 18 holes came in round two at even par as Hill shot +3 and +2 in the final two rounds.Â
Carter Ray posted a score of 85 (+13) for the tournament and despite going seven over in round one, Ray bounced back strong with a 75 in each of the next two rounds to finish tied for 12th.
Michael Robson rounded out the Stars lineup at +18 for the tournament with his top round coming through the first 18 holes at +3. Robson finished in 29th place with a total score of +18.
