Brulay goal seals 1-1 draw with Wayland Baptist

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City men's soccer team fell scoreless in the second half as Thomas Brulay scored the Stars only goal to lock the 1-1 daw on Tuesday night.

Oklahoma City 1, Wayland Baptist 1

'33 - Thomas Brulay; Assisted by Jordan Da Costa

How it Happened
Wayland Baptist came out strong on the attack with three shots in the first 15 minutes with two being on-goal. Oklahoma City took its first attempt in the 16th minute from David Imbert who had two chances with one being saved by the Pioneer keeper Alex Neri and the other off the post. Oklahoma City broke through as the first team to get on the board with Jordan Da Costa sending a nice feed to Thomas Brulay who put it through for the goal. Wayland Baptist had an answer of its own just three minutes later as the Pioneers leading scorer Jamol Williams had a one-on-one break against the Stars keeper and got it past Alexis Bertrand to the back of the net to knot things up 1-1. OCU maintained a heavy amount of control in the final 45 minutes but could not send one home. Wayland had one final chance with a shot on-goal but a save by Bertrand with three minutes to play kept the Pioneers from taking the lead and ending in a 1-1 draw.
