GOODWELL, Okla. - The Oklahoma City women's soccer team was led by Ameila Horsford who scored both goals for Oklahoma City in the 2-0 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State.

How it Happened
Oklahoma City had two shots on-goal in the first half by
Reese Roberts and
Dylan Harned while OPSU did not have a shot attempt as neither side got on the board through the first 45. Ameila Horsford checked into the match in the 59th minute which changed things significantly as Horsford put the Stars on the board with her first goal of the season in the 65th minute. Under eight minutes to go it was Horsford once again putting the nail in coffin with another goal that put the match out of reach giving OCU a 2-0 road win.
Notes on the Game
- With the win, Oklahoma City moves to 6-3-1 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play.
- Oklahoma City allowed just three total shots from the Aggies with two coming on-goal which is the third least amount by an opponent this season.
- The sophomore Ameila Horsford provided both goals for OCU tying her career-high total in one game after making two in rookie campaign a season ago.
- Stars goalkeeper Gemma Harvey notched two saves as the OCU defense kept Panhandle out of its territory for the majority of the match.
