SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - The Oklahoma City women's soccer team struggled to maintain control in Tuesday's contest as OCU was shutout in the final game of the regular season.

How it Happened
Oklahoma City struggled to get anything going in the first half as the Stars went without a shot in the first 45. John Brown attempted nine shots before finally get one to fall with two minutes remaining taking a 1-0 lead into the half. JBU was able extend its lead with Lauren Walter nailing her ninth goal of the season for the Golden Eagles. John Brown finished with 14 shots in second half, the most against OCU in single half all season. Oklahoma City got off three shots in the second 45 as Jimena Martinez took the final attempt in the 86th minute coming up empty as the Stars fell 2-0 on Tuesday night. 

Game Notes

• With the loss, Oklahoma City finishes the regular season 9-6-1 overall notching the eighth straight season with nine or more wins. 
• Oklahoma City was shutout for the third time this season while taking its least amount of shots in contest with only three while going without a shot on-goal for the first time this season.
• Chloi Thurman,m Jimena Martinez and Saizlee Carlton took the shot attempts for the Stars as goalie Gemma Harvey picked up four saves. 
• Oklahoma City falls for the seventh straight time to John Brown as OCU holds a  14-15-3 record against the Golden Eagles since 2003.
