How it Happened
Oklahoma City got on the board quickly with the team's scoring leader Marco Alongi adding another goal to his line to put the Stars up 1-0 on an assist by Bernardo Duarte. Duarte kept his presence felt by giving Oklahoma City a 2-0 lead with a goal in the 27th minute. Holding a two point lead, the Stars saw the advantage be cut in half as Jose Almanza put it through with just over 13 minutes to play. As the clock began to tick away JBU was taking every chance it could come up with until Atim Roper provided his first goal of the season to tie up the contest with under four minutes to be played. OCU was unable to take another shot as the final attempt from the Golden Eagles hit the side post as time expired ending in a 2-2 draw.
